At her arrest, she has confessed to worshipping the Servants, and deliberately stirring up riots and anti-God sentiment in her board. She is believed to have deliberately planned many if not all of the riots in the past month. Her board has been shut down, and now we may have peace once more.]

[In the centre of the city...

It was a glorious thing, you can see white marble through the soot, broken statues littering the ground that once rivalled the Michael. Far larger than any of the temples on Atuin, this is the temple to the God itself.

And it is patterned in waves.

There's heavy double doors on ground level.]

[...Welp. A temple? To the...evil ocean god he's heard about. Huh. Huh...]

Looks like this is the only place left.

[Hey that sure is a crumbling temple thing. Whistling as if impressed]

[ Unfortunately, the injury to her side from earlier has slowed her down a decent amount and she was staring at the temple, so even though she tries to reel back he still ends up grabbing her gun hand. And headbutting her.

...However, at that instant, there's an explosion of noise in Baron's ears-- painfully high-pitched to the point of nausea and so, so loud. ]

[afkahfk Fuck everything Kappy is pulling out a tranquillizer shot and he is going to jab the Baron with it while he's still distracted.]

[A GOOD PLAN. Cause he's... nauseous and wants to eat everything at the same time and there's sound from nowhere on top of the annoying whispering and his ears hurt and his head hurts and his side and the cut on his face hurt and he just wants a needle, magic, anything magic, anything to eat, wants to recoil away from this horrible sound, wants this addiction to go away just... wants wants wants and]

[I guess what I'm trying to say is basically his brain just broke. He ends up... kinda... shrieking, like he might be able to drown out the noise with his own voice, hand tightening around Lizaveta's, claws digging in]

[And then he's being stuck full of something??? There's a moment of artificial euphoria before he realizes that it... wasn't... a magic syringe, and he turns on Kappy, snarling in this high, seadweller keen. Or... trying to turn on Kappy? He gets as far as looking at him before his knees give out]

[It'll take a second longer then usual for his slow ass metabolism to get through the drug and knock him out, but he's obviously struggling just to stay conscious and cover his ears now... :X]

[ She drops the gun from her injured hand as the Baron releases it, a soundless snarl on her lips. ...The sound begins to retreat from Baron's ears, as Lizaveta pulls her gun from the holster under her shirt with her uninjured hand. She uses her magic to silence the barrel, and. You know what?

I'm kneecapping you. Because fuck you. ]

[This level of temple is covered in cracking tile murals, no doubt once beautiful and colorful. They show a simple story:

The God appears on a world of raging water, alone.

He builds an island, and He crafts people to live on it, people in His image with all the traits of Humans, Long, Bast and Angha.

They shine like a beacon, so brightly that things begin to reach towards the world. Black things that eclipse the moon and sun, things reaching with twisted limbs and baring fractal teeth.

So He reaches into the crystal heart of the world and breaks away four crystals.

In His hands, they become four people, each a pale mirror to His own brilliance, for they only have one trait each of the species.

The blue-robed one, holding a sparkling rainbow fire, him merely the human body.

The red-robed one, casting dice with a smile, she who possesses only the glorious wings of the Angha.

The green-robed one, grasping a halberd, with the strength of the Long.

The yellow-robed one, wielding a sword, with the ears and eyes of the Bast.

Those four kneel at the four corners of the world and keep away the dark things while He stands king over all.

It ends there.

There is an altar at the back of this room, a heavy wooden thing, with a priest slumped over it clutching a scroll.

In the far corner there is an door opened to the first steps of a spiral staircase leading upwards.]

[ it's okay i'm not a military-trained russian snow leopard spy for nothing.

She drops Baron to survey the mural, curiously, storing the image in her memory for later before going to inspect the altar, and the priest. ]

[Kappy meanwhile continues to study the mural, eyebrow just...raising as he pieces what he knows together. This is kind of a lot to take in!]

[The priest is untouched by the monstrous magic effects. The scroll is clutched with both hands, protectively.

The altar appears empty otherwise. Whatever sacrifices there used to be are long gone.]

[ Takes out her gun to nudge the priest, testing how fresh the body is if he's. Actually dead...

...And ganking that scroll if he is. ]
